This WORLD PREMIERE adapted by Rocket Theatre's Artistic Director, Martin Harris, is a black comedy exploring fate, duty, and love.  This brand new show satirises upper-class morality and is full of wonderfully Wildean logic and sparkling wit.  "Murder is always a mistake - one should never do anything one cannot talk about after dinner."  As well as writing some of the most popular plays in theatre, Oscar Wilde is also famed for his short stories for both children and adults.   LORD ARTHUR SAVILE'S CRIME is Wilde's best known short story for adults and was written in 1887.  Since then, the story has formed the basis of many adaptations and has been produced all over the world, not only as stage plays but also as radio productions, operas ans films.  Martin Harris has now adapted the story into what he calls "a brand new extravagance for the stage" of which he feels Oscar Wilde would thoroughly approve.
